You can put months into a project, then one damaged sliding door track becomes the detail everyone remembers. As a builder, I knew there had to be a better way.
I created TOUGHTRACKS after seeing the same challenge on site: protect the tracks, keep access open and stop spending time building temporary timber ramps. I wanted a practical system that helped protect the work already done.
Every product in this catalogue starts with that thinking: a purpose-built solution crews can use, move and use again. Less time spent on avoidable rework. More pride in what we hand over.

ToughTracks grew from Tedd’s more than 20 years of construction experience. On large residential projects, he saw the same threshold damage return to the defect list.
The first checker-plate prototype proved the idea, but its weight and size led to a more portable approach. The purpose stayed the same: help protect the work already done.
