TOUGHTRACKS differs from other ramps by bridging over the exposed track. TOUGHTRACKS distributes load evenly, absorbs high impacts, and shields the track from foot traffic, trolleys, bins, and wheel barrows.

materials.

• The ramps and bottom height adjusters are made from virgin polypropylene reinforced with 20% long glass fibres for added strength and durability.
• The central mid-span bridge uses reinforced polypropylene with 50%
  long glass fibres, offering exceptional load-bearing capacity.
• The connecting rods, which link the span to each ramp through knuckle joints, are 1mm galvanized carbon steel for secure, rust-resistant support.
• Lastly, the feet are made from rubber to provide grip and protect finished surfaces from damage.

Yes — TOUGHTRACKS are designed with versatility in mind to suit a range of door track setups with a maximum span of 330mm.

• The larger TOUGHTRACKS Pro measures W 380mm x H 280mm x L 830mm, with a clearance height of 230mm and clearance length of 330mm.
• The smaller TOUGHTRACKS Mini measures W 370mm x H 175mm x L
  530mm, with a clearance height of 130mm and the same clearance length of 330mm.

These dimensions strike the ideal balance between portability, weight, and
overall cost — while offering practical height clearances for common
installations. The Mini is well-suited for subsills on 50mm balcony steps, creating smooth transitions between living rooms and outdoor areas.

The Pro was purpose-built for added flexibility — ideal for bridging over 100mm high hobs and other obstacles like concrete pump lines as well as 150mm steps on podium levels. Pairing a Pro ramp on the low side with a Mini rampon the high side creates a smooth and stable transition across uneven access points. The knuckle joints between the ramps and bridge are designed to articulate for this purpose.

Absolutely. No tools or special fixings are needed for standard use — it can be
installed by one person in under a minute and removed just as quickly.

For long-term setups, there’s also the option to fix the ramps to a concrete substrate using concrete bolts, which will require basic tools for drilling and fixing. A hex head tool is provided to easily separate the height adjuster from the Mini ramp.
