TOUGHTRACKS Pro v TOUGHTRACKS Mini

TOUGHTRACKS Pro v TOUGHTRACKS Mini

Which version suits your site best?

If you've seen TOUGHTRACKS a few times, you're probably considering which model suits you best. The Pro ramp gives the most versatility where you get three combinations in one. The Mini ramp on the other hand is compact and clears most step up scenarios. We tell you below where both are most suited.

Both models deliver the same strength, grip and zero‑stress setup. They’re simply sized for different hob and step heights. The articulating knuckle joint between the ramp and bridge sections lets the system adapt to any step height in between, keeping the entire setup level, stable and smooth under load.

TOUGHTRACKS Pros are designed for podium levels where you typically have 100–150 mm step‑ups, and you need the smaller ramp on the upper level for a smooth transition over the bridge. Traditional hobs between balconies and units were usually 100 mm, with a subsill on top bringing the total step to around 180 mm. This was a major design criteria behind the Pro’s 230 mm height clearance. The extra clearance also makes bridging over concrete lines far easier.

TOUGHTRACKS Minis have a 130 mm height clearance and are designed to give a smooth transition over podium step‑ups when paired with a Pro on the lower level. The typical step down from units to balconies is now around 50 mm and the subsill and water‑stop angle usually push the total step height to roughly 110 mm. Minis were built around this new standard.
The Minis are light, compact and easily carried one handed around site. They have become one of the most practical solutions when ramp access is needed quickly.

The verdict?

TOUGHTRACKS Pros give you the best overall value because you get all three ramp combinations in one system, covering every step height and every access condition without needing extra pieces. TOUGHTRACKS Minis are the smarter choice when your site conditions are already low without overspending on capability you don’t need.

Buy the Pro when you need full versatility across all step‑ups and hob heights. When your steps are low and consistent, the Mini is the smarter, more cost‑efficient choice that still gets the job done.
